About Brandot

Kanishka joined Brandot in 2005 as Vice President of Corporate Acquisitions and Risk Management. He has been responsible for identifying new partners for Brandot in China, India and Bangladesh and setting up new joint ventures in these countries. Kani is also responsible for setting targets and reviewing operational performance of joint venture companies. In 2010 he was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Brandot, Kani held several positions at MAS Holdings in Sri Lanka, an international company manufacturing intimates, sportswear and activewear. He launched a new mission, vision and strategic framework for MAS Holdings, introduced lean manufacturing initiatives and promoted an interactive website and e-business solution for the company.

Kani also served as the Assistant Vice President - Consultancy at Affno (Pvt) Ltd., a software development organization. While there, he advised clients in choosing the right technologies for e-business initiatives, re-evaluated business and operational processes across clients' businesses, and reassessed their technology backbone. Kani received his Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Kent, U.K., and obtained a Master's in International and Comparative Law at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium.
